Why are you trying to collect money from me when I never borrowed from you?

When a creditor (for example a bank, credit card company, or other type of lender) does not receive timely payments on an account over a period of time, they may choose to send these debts to a company such as South District Group to collect that debt. Our goal at South District Group is to assist you in getting your debt resolved as soon as possible so that you can move on to other important journeys in your life.

How can I find out the original creditor/lender for this account?

If you have received a letter or email from us, look for the portion of the communication that says Original Creditor to see the creditor or lender that you opened the account with. If you are unable to locate it, please feel free to email us or call (855) 815-9686 and we will be happy to provide that information to you.

Why are you contacting me?

We are contacting you because your unpaid account has been placed in our office for collection. We would like to work with you to determine the best solution to resolve your debt.

3. Payments

I have made the required payments to either settle or pay off my account. Can you send me a letter or email showing this?

If your account has been paid off or settled with South District Group, please contact us using the email form, and we’ll be happy to send confirmation to you. Please include your name and account number. Please also note that we will only be able to send this information to the email address or mailing address we have on file. What types of payment plans or other options may be available to pay off or resolve my account?

I had trouble logging in to the website. (Account number not recognized, invalid login, could not log in)Here are some things to try if you are having trouble logging in to our website:

1) Your South District Group account number or reference number is listed on each of the communications we sent to you. If your account number includes letters before the numbers, please include those as well.
2) If you have previously received communication from South District Group, but you no longer have a copy of it, please contact us at (855) 815-9686 for verification and to obtain your account number.

I tried to make a payment, but had an issue.If you received an error with your payment, please check the following, then try again:

1) Please verify that your bank account or card information is correct by comparing it to a blank check, your debit or credit card.
2) Please verify that you have sufficient funds in your account. If not, your payment may be rejected.
